A study of coastal nostalgia, effortless femininity and the golden summers of years gone by.

Inspired by the sun-drenched beaches of Queensland, Jean captures the warmth and understated glamour of a summer spent by the sea. Evoking a time of wide-brimmed hats, sun-warmed skin and long afternoons along the coastline, the work celebrates the beauty of simple moments and the memories that stay with us.

Part of SEAFORTH, a collection inspired by my grandma and the summers we shared in her little coastal town. A personal tribute to family, nostalgia and the timeless art of dressing for summer.

Through expressive brushwork, softened forms and a considered palette, Jean brings together the spirit of coastal living and a distinctly nostalgic femininity. The layered surface reveals the hand of the artist up close, while the warm, sun-washed tones allow the work to sit within considered interiors.
